2015 State Convention News

Post receives All State honors:

Post Commander Thomas Coohill, and Post Quartermaster Larry Mazzachetti were selected to the All State Team at the State Convention in Wildwood by outgoing Commander Warren George. Larry Mazzachetti was also recognized at the Captain of the All State Quartermaster's.

The post is very proud of the hard work that both Tommy and Larry put in to earn this prestigious recognition.

We also want to acknowledge all the support of our Auxiliaries, for without their support and efforts, none of this would have been possible.

VFW State Commander Warren George presenting Sgt. Frank Sutter of the East Brunswick Police Department with the New Jersey State VFW Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award at the 2013 State Convention. Also present for the presentation is Post Commander Thomas Coohill and Post Adjutant Michael Goff.

Menlo Park Veterans Home Picnic. JUNE 23, 2015

We always have a wonderful turnout for the veterans at the "Menlo Park Veterans Home Picnic" event. The residents enjoy the food, music, and the company of other veterans to speak to. 3rd Annual 5K Run

July 27th 9AM

VFW Post 133 is set to host its 4th annual 5K Run/Walk on July 26th, 2015 at 9:00 AM. The course of the 5K will begin from VFW Post133 located at 485 Cranbury Rd and will lap around the tree-lined streets of East Brunswick.

Cost of registration is $25 online or in mail before July 18 ($30 for late registration; late registration at Post 133 will be available at 7:30 AM on race day). A printable form can be accessed through the link on the bottom of this page or can be submitted electronically at RaceForum.com or JerseyRunner.com. T-shirts will be distributed to all adult participants and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age division.

This year we are proud to present a Kids Race for all children 7 years or older. Kids’ registration will be $20 and t-shirts/medals will be distributed while supplies last. The award presentation along with an exciting post-race party will take place at Post133 from 10 AM - Noon; Food, Soda & Beer will be served. All proceeds will go directly to the VFW to help support Veterans and their needs. Many thanks for your involvement and support !!!!!!!!
